Elisabeth Schweeger
Elisabeth Schweeger is Manager and Artistic Director of the Academy of Performing Arts, Baden-Württemberg/Germany, as well as Lecturer in Dramaturgy. She studied Comparative Literature and Philosophy in Innsbruck/Austria, Vienna/Austria, and Paris/France. She works as a curator (amongst others, Venice Biennale, Ars Electronica, Documenta), journalist, and cultural manager. She has been Artistic Director of Marstall/Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel (1993-2001), Head Dramaturge at Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel, Director of Schauspiel Frankfurt (2001-09), and Director of KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen, Hannover/Germany (2009-15).
