Using different examples, Saâdane Afif attempts to show how the Other, when equipped with a certain know-how (or savoir-faire), constitutes an acknowledged subject and motif in his work. In doing so, he hopes to show what kind of contractual relations are entailed by his artworks and thus provide a definition of the copyshare, as reflected in his overall artistic practice.
